About NadekoBot

NadekoBot is a free, open-source, multipurpose Discord bot for moderation, XP and leveling, an economy with Nadeko Flowers, games and utility. NadekoBot started in 2015 and is written in C#. Its code is on GitHub under the AGPLv3.

NadekoBot's history

NadekoBot started in 2015 as one of the first 50 bots on Discord. At its peak it was in about 700,000 servers, and one of the three most used bots on Discord.

NadekoBot has always been community-driven - the code is open, and anyone can suggest features, report bugs or host their own copy. 176 of NadekoBot's features came from users' ideas on the suggestions page.

NadekoBot is open source

NadekoBot has been free and open source since 2015, and it stays that way - donations on Patreon and NadeKloud subscriptions pay for the servers.

NadekoBot's source code is on GitHub under the AGPLv3. You can read it, change it and host your own copy - the docs explain how. Every version is on the releases page, with its changes in the changelog. The command list has a version menu, so you can see the commands of any release.

NadeKloud is NadekoBot's official managed hosting, from the bot's original developer. Each customer's bot runs on dedicated hardware in Germany.
