Added

  • AI agent customHeaders values can use %server.id%, %channel.id% and %user.id%.

Changed

  • The AI agent answers a reply only when the reply pings the bot.
  • The AI agent answers replies only to its own messages, not to other bot messages.
  • The NadeKloud bot asks Discord only for the privileged intents which its application has.
  • When Discord takes away a privileged intent, the NadeKloud bot starts again at once without it.
  • Without the Message Content intent:
    • commands and aliases work after the bot mention, for example @Bot help
    • every message gives text xp
    • anti-spam, filters and other features which read messages are off, and their commands tell you
    • chat games do not start
    • members answer bot questions with a reply which pings the bot
  • Without the Server Members intent, .antiraid, .antialt, .stickyroles and .mute tell you what does not work.

Fixed

  • Fixed a ~ prefix breaking all commands after the bot saved bot.yml. Now the bot restores it.
  • Without the Message Content intent:
    • anti-spam does not punish members who send a few messages
    • image-only and link-only channels do not delete every message
    • starboard posts keep their text when the star count changes
  • .eximport skips expressions with an empty trigger.
  • Trivia does not accept an empty message as the answer.
For self-hosters (4)
  • NadekoBot.Hosted reports the privileged intents of the bot and marks server features which need a missing intent.
  • Added tests for the intent flags, the mention prefix and the intent health checks.
  • NadekoBot.Hosted restarts at once after gateway close 4014 and deletes the stored intents when the token changes.
  • Added tests for features without the Message Content intent, the fast restart and a token change.

  • Fixed a feed sometimes being deleted right after a restart. Now it must fail for 1 hour first.

Fixed

  • Fixed feeds getting deleted when YouTube was down. Now a feed is deleted only after 3 days of errors.
  • Fixed one failed feed post stopping all feeds until a restart.
  • Fixed .temprole sometimes never removing the role.
  • Fixed .warnpunish / .warnp accepting a TimeOut over 28 days, which then always failed. Now it refuses it.
  • Fixed .timeout failing with no clear error over 28 days. Now it says the limit is 28 days.
  • Fixed .acadd / .autocmdadd with an interval over 30 days breaking all auto commands. Now it refuses it.
  • Fixed music repeat retrying a broken track forever. Now the player stops after 3 failed tracks.
  • Fixed image-only and link-only channels stopping after a permission error.

  • Feed errors and deleted feeds are logged as warnings, with server and channel ids.
  • YouTube feeds are checked about every 10 minutes instead of every 30 seconds.
  • Fixed background loops spamming errors and leaking database connections.

  • Members gain xp for each message when the text xp cooldown is under 3 seconds.
  • Members keep xp which they gain while the database is busy.
  • A level-up past many reward levels changes each role only once.
  • Xp cards skip club icons which are too large.
  • .quoteedit / .qedit / .qe fixes
    • users with Manage Messages can edit any quote on the server

  • The new NadekoBot.Hosted program runs the bot with a REST API for NadeKloud

    • under the coordinator, each shard serves the routes of its servers, except currency rewards
  • Tests cover mention rules, the music proxy, alias currency checks and the new limits.
